What Does it Mean to Live My Faith?

Third Grade Winner from St. Pius V

My name is (name withheld) and I am eight years old. I am the fifth child to my parents. I have four brothers and one sister. I am the youngest. To live my faith has a special meaning. I was adopted, and my parents had the faith that God would bless them with another child. To live in my faith means living the Christian life, and doing God's will. Obey God's commandments. All Christ's faithful are called to hand down the faith from generation to generation by professing the faith, living our Christian lives.

I have feelings for everyone. When they are sad I comfort them, when they are happy I smile. When I grow up I want to be a priest. Then I'll grow up and listen to God's calling and to follow His plan. We should practice our faith always and in all things. Even in our everyday lives.

Our faith is always in all things, even ion everyday events, and in every person. Faith is not just going to church and praying, but to our life as disciples.

What I have learned from my faith so far is to be kind, love one another, pray, be grateful, and may other good deeds. I continue to learn more about the Catholic faith as the disciples of Jesus did in the past.
