What Does it Mean to Live My Faith?

Fifth Grade Winner from St. Helen

I would like to live my life like God; or at least like to try. My faith isn't just going to church every Sunday; it is much more than that. I pray to God every night because I want to grow closer to God. To pray is to talk with God and to thank Him for all He has done for me and to ask for guidance for the next day. I also attend Catholic School and my faith is part of every day school life. If I attended public school I would only learn about my faith once a week at CCE.

I am a member of the football team, and I try my best to help and support the other players, Showing kindness and being courteous is part of living my faith. It is hard to be good at home, especially with my four-year-old sister. Sometimes we fight and it makes parents upset. That is why it is important to go to confession every six months. Overall, the church has given me the guidance to live my faith every day.
