Msgr. Procella (continued)

Msgr. Procella received the Sacred Heart School of Theology Distinguished Minsitry Award on October 9, 2002. He is the fourteenth recipient of this prestigious award.

Presented annually by Sacred Heart School of Theology in honor of Reverend Leo John Dehon, S.C.J., founder of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, this award recognizes an alumnus of Sacred Heart who has given distinguished service to the church and humankind in professional or volunteer endeavors, in leadership in civic or social work, or in the promotion of intellectual or cultural pursuits.

God has been a constant throughout Msgr. Procella's life. A strong commitment to his faith was influential in his career and in his marriage and finally in his decision to follow God's call to ordained ministry.
